If I was alone for 30 yrs yes. And my beautiful niece is through a sperm donor because my sister is gay! She is talented, smart and knows she has 2 moms. Nothing wrong with it by any means! That's why ppl donate sperm! Keep population growing!

My baby was conceived via a sperm donor as my husband is sterile due to a childhood illness. We used a known donor who wants, and has signed such, nothing to do with raising our child. He provided a complete medical history and STD screening when we met. My husband and I plan on telling our child from a young age but in a way that makes them feel special and loved. Like we wanted you so much and you're so special it took three people to make you. In a day and age where more that 50% of children are being raised by parents who are not biologically theirs, this really is not so different. My SO will be daddy from the moment our Weeble is born. We're so excited about starting our family.

It's our only option now for me to carry a child and be pregnant. 
My partner had a testicle removed in 2007 because of cancer. 
Ready to start a family we tried for 2 yrs. nothing. My tests were fine so he went for SA. Results were 0.00000001. 
Searched long and hard for a donor. Met loads of useless ones. 
Now have a man similar to my SO, and doing AI only. 
Last cycle was a bfn because only one attempt. But this cycle which is in a couple of weeks is going to be three or 4 attempts in fertile window.

If we don't succeed after 6 months, then it will be IVF with donor sperm at £8000 per try.
