Hasn't America made a thing of policing elections in other countries to ensure they are fair? If the US elections were (and I totally don't believe they are), this is majorly hypocritical.

Claims of voter fraud and election rigging are being made as a way to save face since the alternative would be that a certain person/party's politics are simply not popular enough on a national scale.

No. Trump is just trying to take some of the pressure off of himself if he loses the election because his ego is so damn big he will never admit that it was his own damn fault he lost the election or because people maybe didn't really like him all that much.
