Dogs acting different right before labor?

Has anyone who already has a baby had any experience with their dogs acting different before labor? I'm 38 weeks and my dog has been super clingy the last few days. She wants to be near me all of the time and just comes and puts her head on my lap and keeps smelling me.

For the past month my little dog has discovered on how to climb up the recliner and jump into the baby's crib. She lays there every night when I go to sleep and in the morning when I wake up she's right next to my belly. I can't wait to see how she's actually going to act once he gets here.

I've been feeling different for the last few days, more pressure today and more back ache and my dog has just come and rested his head on my belly for the first time in my pregnancy I'm beginning to wonder the same! Xx
