Went to my 37 week appointment this morning and since last week I'm still only 1 CM dilated. However, last week I was only 20 percent thinned out and now I'm 50 percent. Of course this isn't a bad thing because I'd like her to have another week or two in the oven to make sure she's healthy and her lungs are fully developed. On the other hand I'm so ready to have her on the outside of me rather inside. She's getting big and I'm getting very uncomfortable. I have a lot of pressure down there and my lower back aches most the time. I have contractions off and on all day but nothing regular... Around 20 to 30 minutes apart. The doctor said not to call her till they are coming at least 5 to 6 minutes apart and good strong contractions. Scary part is I live an hour from the hospital and this is my 6th child so who knows how fast labor could progress. For now though I just wait... I go back to doctor in 8 days. We will see what happens I guess. Best of luck to all you ladies in waiting 😉😃
