IVF alternatives

Hi everyone! So today my husband and I went and saw a fertility doctor. Husband has primary testicular failure and low sperm count and our options for conceiving is IVF or sperm donor. Its been a rough couple of days for us. IVF is so expensive and my insurance doesn't cover. Sperm donor isn't something we want to do either. Nothing against it, just isn't something we want. Before we start to consider IVF is there anything else we can try? Has anyone tried an at home conception kit? Maca root? Any success?
