Ingrown hair help.

I have a really bad ingrown hair on my armpit... It's a pretty big raised lump. I can't see where the ingrown hair is for me to tweeze it out and fix it. I honestly can't afford to go to the doctor and have them drain it. I've had it done before, and it's just plain fucking painful. Once the numbing goes away I'm in tears cause of the pain and I usually handle pain well. It's horrible. I just can't do it. However, I do have prescribed antibiotics. I've been taking them regularly for the past two days. Doesn't seem like it's going down yet. How do I speed up the healing process? :/
