Black dots on tongue?

My little on has black dots on his tongue he has white also but he is exclusively breastfed and the white I was told was milk but I am confused on where the black dots come from...

Did you ever figure out what the black dots were? My little one is 7 weeks and has them too I’m taking him to the doctors in a few days but planning on calling them to find out.

There is a fungus that can grow on the tongue causing black dots... I'd take baby to the doctor to be checked.

Do you use gripe water? There was a certain brand that was causing black spots. There was a post about it a month or two ago.
