2 cm and 80% effaced?

Possible or did I not hear my doc correctly? And how does whatever cm dilated correlate with the effacement.

Effacement is how ripen your cervix is. Once you get to 100% then you can go into labor at any time.

Dialating means nothing when it comes to going into labor it matters when you're In labor but not when you aren't. And effaced is how thin your cervix is, which also doesn't mean much before labor, during labor it's used to see if your cervix is swelling from baby coming down. I've been at a 4CM and 90% effaced for over a month

Well i have feeling well i have been for a min i will have him early , i am 2cm almost 3cm dilated , 80 % effaced his head way lower and my cervix is already thinned it out the doc don't want me go over 39 weeks but he said things will changed . I have extreme pain and back pain, pressure big time and alot strong contractions barely walked . And people keeps saying "looks like you are ready to pop any day soon" so yeah i know and can feel it .

That's nothing weird.  You probably are that!  It doesn't necessarily mean labor is near but it could be.  Dilating is how open your cervix is and the percentage is how thinned it is.
