Contractions

So my Dr office sent me to labor and delivery earlier because I was having really bad pressure to the point I couldn't walk. I am 37,3 I was having slight BH according to them but after watching me for an hr my cervix softened some more but they sent me home...I signed papers while I was in a whole lot of pain. Anyways I've been having consistent contractions for the last 4 hrs every 10 min. Any ideas other then rest to get them to stop. I really want this baby to bake a little longer.
