coconut oil ?

This is a really weird question, but would putting coconut oil around your vaginas area help with getting rid of bacteria and help it smell better? My lady area has been smelling and I don't know why, I clean down there regularly and I haven't been participating in any sexual activity. But I honestly just want to keep that area in tip top shape, lol. So, ladies, would it be a bad idea to put coconut oil down there or no?
