Would you keep going through procedure after excruciating procedure to fix something? Or would you look into other options, like surgery?
Hey all... I need some advice. I'm 29, and I've been dealing with severe back pain since a car accident 3 years ago. The car accident left me with three herniated discs in my lumbar spine.
So far I've gone through multiple injections, been on countless pain meds, lost ability to feel just about everything and they have recently started Radio Frequency Ablation (burning of nerves by use of radio frequency) which requires use of four needles being placed.
The last RFA didn't seem to do anything, and I'm supposed to go through 2 more on my right side, then 3 on my left. I don't know what to do.
I usually weigh in around 175-185.... but due to the constant back pain and inability to barely walk sometimes I have gained a good 55 pounds. I also have to use a CPAP machine at night due to having severe obstructive sleep apnea. I want all of this to just go away.
What would you do?
