When to pump while exclusively breastfeeding?

If im feeding my LO every 2.5-3hrs when should I pump? This is my second child but I'm new to pumping.. any tips? My goal is to pump and freeze so I can start to build up a stash and have plenty on hand when I go back to school (in June). If he's eating so often when is the best time to pump and still have milk for him to breastfeed when he's hungry?

I usually pump first thing in the morning.  I think they recommend like an hour or so after your last feeding, so your breasts have had some time to refill.  Don't worry if your baby wakes up and wants to eat right after you pump too (mine has done this a few times) bc babies are much more efficient than pumps and will still be able to get milk out even if you pumped until nothing was coming out.  Also, if you do it consistently your body will recognize that it needs to make more at that time and you should have more than enough to pump and feed the baby.
