repeat csection or vba2c? so conflicted

Hey. Ultimately,, I will be having a long discussion with my OB about this but want to know if anyone has experience with this. Apologize in advance, this will be long.

In 2004 I was a pregnant teen and was induced at 41 wks, would not dialate past 3cm, so ended up having a non emergency csection. (Bikini cut) baby 8lb1oz

In 2007, I had a repeat at 39 wks via same incision. Baby 8lb2oz

Fast forward to almost a decade later. I planned on having another cesarean via same incision. However, I have a lot more info available via the Internet then I did then and am wondering about a vba2c. I am very scared about uterine rupture during a VBAC. Plus, my children tend to be born larger each time if I follow the same trend.

I would like to try for one last baby (God willing after this one for a sibling close in age for this baby)

Pros: my uterus has had practically a decade to heal
No complications thus far (15 wks now)

Cons: I have mild scoliosis (if that matters) a slightly rotated pelvis
I'm 32 now (not that it's old, idk if it matters yet)

Thoughts? No fear monger in G responses please. Already conflicted enough.

Ps:I'm a petit build and worried the baby won't fit vaginally. Idk if maybe why I had an issue dilating the first time

I would try for the vbac because you could always do the section if you don't progress vaginally. I wish I had done this but I went straight for the section again and had a terrible experience & lots of issues afterwards. My first pregnancy was a vaginal, no meds, 9 lb 14oz baby.  My second & third babies were both sections. Good luck & congrats mama!

Your doctor may not even allow a vbac. Then you have to find a hospital that will take you for it. I had about the same experience with my first. Semi emergency csection in 2007. They really didn't want me to do a vbac with #2 even after 7 years. Now its no question-- straight to OR if I go into labor or on set date.

I think another huge factor is if your doctor is experienced in vbac. Some aren't comfortable in doing it at all. You might even need to find one that has extensive experience with it depending on your specific scenario.

It depends on your experience with the recovery. I had 2 vaginal births and then 1 c section, the c section recovery was so difficult for me I needed a lot of help to care for my other 2 children. I might want a 4th and would like to try a vbac unless there's a reason not to, or unless i decide to have my tubes tied. I think the risk of rupture is quite low since you've had a lot of time between pregnancies and no hemorrhaging. But if the c section recovery was easy for you,  your mind might be more at ease with the c section.
