Promise Ring?

Okay,  my boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 months.  He is 26 years old and I am 20. Things have been serious since we started talking.  We're both stable, I moved out of my mom's when we turned a month,  and I'm staying with my father until January (we're moving in together). We've been through a lot since we started dating. And we help each other in every way. I asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he wants some Jordan's.  So he asked me what I wanted but I told him that whatever he wanted I'd enjoy 😍 but what I really want is a PROMISE RING. But idk if i should tell him. I feel weird, I don't like asking for anything from anyone.  My question is,  is it a good idea? Or should I ask for something else???

Just my opinion but I would wait. It's only been three months.

Personally, I asked my boyfriend for one for our one year anniversary. I told him where I wanted it from and he picked one out himself. I don't think it's wrong at all. A promise ring is something that I really wanted, so I just discussed it with him and we agreed that I should get one.

Promise ring? That's more along high school relationships not for older people?

I got my promise ring four months in on Christmas last year, what I did I saw a post a friend gave his gf a promise ring on her birthday. I forgot what I said but he said I would have one soon. I remember after that he was sending me pics of rings and ig he picked up that I didn't liked them so when he actually gave me the ring I expected it to be one of the ones in the picture but it but whole different ring and I almost cried. All I have to say is that both of y'all know the true meaning of a promise ring and that u want it for them reasons not just to get a "ring"

No its a great idea. I actually bought my bf and i matching promise rings when we were 3months in. :)
