I lost mine at 24 with a guy who was 20. We had a short relationship that turned into this emotionally draining on and off again long distance thing. We broke up the fifth and final time because he wouldn't move to be with me. We only had sex once but a huge part of me wishes I hadn't because after meeting my boyfriend I really wish it was him I gave it to. Our first time together was unbelievable. He was so sweet and gental but damn does he know what hes doing! Good lord I came so many times!

He's had a few partners and has been burned many times by the women he's dated. Been cheated on and used and so kinda looks at me like I'm a unicorn lmao! In the entire year I was "with" my first boyfriend I never even thought of stepping out which would have been too easy since he lived too far away to visit. So in a way I was still a virgin when I met my current boyfriend. He has a tremendous amount of respect for that. We've been together for just over three months but we're both sure this is it. Just waiting to really know eachother better and the families and the right time to make things official!

I honestly didn't care about dating let alone sex until I was long out of school and in college. Even then it wasn't a priority. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love messing around with my boyfriend and so does he but our relationship is so much more than sex.

So bottom line everyone experiences life at their own pace and their own way. If you are ready then do it but safely. Ask yourself why you want to loose your virginity? Ask yourself is this the right person to loose it to? Are you prepared for the possibility of pregnancy? No birth control method is bullet proof. Losing your virginity may not be a big deal to you. It wasn't to me but when, who and how was. I didn't look at it as losing my V card but more like finally enjoying sex with another person. Just be sure you're doing what is right for you and not allowing yourself to be pressured or manipulated into it.
