How much does a baby really cost - UK???

Question

I have been reading a post on here about the realistic financial cost of the first year of having a baby which is fascinating BUT I've only seen comments from USA and Canada. Anyone in the U.K. Able to give a rough guide for the financial cost of a baby - no frills and excessive/unnecessary items, just basic baby essentials?

My little girl is 4 months and atm i really dont spend much, £10 a week on formula, 4 packs of wipes from boots for around 2.50 (which last about 2 weeks) and 3 for £10 on packs of nappies from asda. Everyone loves buying her little outfits so i just stock up on sleepsuits and vests in different sizes from primark (around £5-£6 for pack of 3) plus gas, electric and fairy detergent for her clothes. Before hand i was gifted alot of items by my family and my boyfriends family and had bags of passed down clothes so all i really had to buy was a cot, travel system, some sheets and blankets, changing mat and a steriliser. All of which i managed to find pretty good deals on either online or from somewhere like mothercare.

For me in Australia

Box 96 nappies$ 33 lasts quite a while
3 pack of 80 bamboo wipes $12 
I used to spend $19 on formula but changed to a different one which 24.90 per week
Clothes were given as presents or friends had lots of baby clothes they were getting rid of

Didnt get a baby bath i want a charlie chair for baby for xmas $199

Already had heaps of stuff being my third

Spend $12 week on baby food i could make it cheaper  can't be bothered

Car seat i hax to buy a new one mine was out if date $179 new born to 4yrs

A list of the kind of things you would buy for a new baby . Some are optional like a baby carrier for example. Some you need one not the other. 
I didn't put a price on each because honestly you spend what you have. With my first I bought everything brand new and spent a fortune on everything. But that's because I could at the time. 
With my second I'm much more sensible and don't want to spend as much. 
There are also lots of baby fayres where people sell new and used baby items. So if money is tight then this is an affordable option.

Preparing baby's room (decorate, furniture) 
Pram 
Car seat 
Bath 
Cot and or crib/Moses basket and stand. 
Changing unit 
Bed linen, blankets. 
Bottles/ stériliser/ breast pump 
High chair
Baby carrier 
Baby swing/ bouncer. 
Tummy time mat or play mat 
Toys
Books
Clothes, shoes, outdoor wear, pyjamas (Bear in mind they will go through several sets of clothes as they grow so quickly in the first year.) 
Teething aids
Medicine
Grooming essentials (baby nail clippers, comb, brush, cotton wool)

I spend £8.50 a week on formula.
3 packs of nappies for £10 in Asda/Tesco or its £3 a pack from Sainsbury's which last a good while.
About £7 for fairy non bio liquid which lasts me 2 weeks which is good considering I do 2/3 loads of washing a day including our clothes. That's the main expenses really. So not that much (to me anyway)

£10-£15 for formula per week, £10 nappies per week, £4 wet wipes, wash essentials £5 washing powder and fabric conditioner £13 per month so about £122 per month and that's without clothes toys etc and obviously gets dearer as they grow when they start needing baby food etc x
