is there light at the end of the tunnel after a breakup?

So long story short, I got my heart broken by a guy that couldn't see what he had and he took it all for granted. I'm the type of girlfriend to reallly be a rider and really go hard for my man and give him everything that he needs. For instance, we were both about to start the fall semester of college and he was telling me how he still needs to get his books. As he's telling me about it I go on Amazon and buy it for him. He says he needs a new basketball, I the exact one he wanted sent to his house by mail by surprise. He's sick, I drop everything he tend to his every  need. If he's felling down, I'm there. And he tells me "you're a good as woman" "I see all your potential" blahblahblah, wompwompwomp, and then breaks it off with me. I'm taking this as a sign that I need to just worry about myself for a while and not be bothered with any relationships for a LONG time. I did start to wonder though: after a serious relationship falls through is there hope for another one in the future? I feel like I don't have the best luck with men or just land with the wrong ones. 😂😂 or maybe I should start dating women or something I don't know.
