Humidifier???

Question

When choosing a humidifier I'm not sure whether to go with warm or cool??? What's the difference??

They bother work well, we have a cool and warm, and they have some that does both. However most doctors reccomend cool mist humidifiers because there's no risk of child getting burned.

We switched over to a cool mist one and I prefer it far more as 1) it's very quiet in comparison, 2) the tank lasts longer so I can have it running much longer before the water runs out, 3) it sprays higher, 4) it never spits whereas my warm one did on occasion, and 5) it has really helped with dryness in the room (we live in Canada and our winters can be crazy). I chose the Crane cool mist, works great! I was able to get rid of a cold I had during my 3rd trimester by just using that for a few days. And my 5 month old recently had a runny nose/cough, and I left it on every night by his crib for 3-4 days and he got better.
