Stretch marks rant?

Do people really think they are preventable? Come on they are going to happen and if they don't doesn't mean next pregnancy they won't. They never go away! People seem to think they will; its a scar! It will become translucent but it will never really be gone!!! Is this not common sense anymore? Seriously!!!!

I love when people freak out at the first sign of stretch marks. Like, you're growing a human. I don't like my stretch marks but whatever. They're part of my body now.

Dude people get stretch marks from everything like a growth spurt ( puberty), or if you were big and got small or small and got big... It's just a story of your life. People live in this idea of perfection that doesn't exist

I don't like mine right now because they are so purple, and I'm surprised I got so many (I'm a bit of a heavier girl didn't think my skin would stretch that bad) but I had started to lose weight before getting pregnant as well and was getting them from losing weight lol. I knew I was going to have them and I'm fine with it. I will be happier when they lighten up though.

My husband thought they went away. When I said no he just kept apologizing lol.

They can go away actually. I had very large and noticeable white coloured ones on my butt from my high school days and thanks to coffee scrubs, sugar scrubs, and salt scrubs, they gradually went away and now are gone completely.

I mean sure you can get them taken away by lazer but seriously why does everyone have to always worry about what others will think..obviously within reason but to hate yourself over it and act like its the end of the world. Ugh. :/
