Pains in stomach contractions?

I'm ftm and wondering if contractions can just be felt underneath the bump so like where your bikini line is or do you have to feel it all other the stomach? Opinions and experiences  appreciated please :)

Yes. When I get contractions I get period like cramping low, my upper belly tightens and pain raps around my back.

Its normal to period like cramps I have them ALOT believe me when you start having contractions you'll know ! My doctor told me that if I have pain in my stomach that is close together and for 5 minutes that its contractions if its less then that and not really painful then its not contractions

Does your belly tighten when you feel this pain? And how long does it last for?

I've been having a lot of gas pains that only last for a few seconds. I know they are gas pains because I get constipated pretty easily and usually when I get them I have a lot of gas or go to the bathroom within an hour and it relieves the pain.

Could definitely be a contraction though.
