Is second handsmoke bad

I've been smoking since I was 15, but never got addicted to it I mostly did it because I got bored to when I got pregnant quiting was super easier now my fiance when in the car will smoke around me I tell him when he forgets to put the cigarette out the window when around me at times I'll breath it in if the smoke happened to come my way as I try and get it out of my face, but anyways is second hand smoke as dangerous to our child as smoking is
