blue lips and hands?

Has anyone experienced this? I'm 38w+6d I'm supposed to be induced Tuesday but is this something alarming? My blood pressure has been a little elevated, but I don't wanna freak out and go be seen if they aren't going to do anything other than monitor and send me home like usual.

Sounds like cyanosis and that's a sign of low/no tissue perfusion. You should get it checked out just to be sure.

I have extremely high bp 188/123 without meds and have never had blue lips nor have I heard of that from high bp. That would be low bp that causes that.

That doesn't sound good, if you can't get your bp to lower then just go to the hospital. My doctor said if it's 140/90 or higher to go. Just relax, take in some deep breaths, don't get up for 15 minutes and check ur bp. I hope nothing is wrong. Atleast you know the baby is doing ok💛
