I had an abortion with my first husband. We didn't have insurance and had only been married for a month. I knew inside I didn't love him and didn't want to put a child through a divorce. (We were only married for 1 year) Do I regret it, abosolutly not! I have 9 amazing children with my current husband of 15 years, and we couldn't be happier. Sometimes, you just have to do what's right for yourself. I was only 8 weeks pregnant, had I been in my second trimester, I would never have considered it.

I was a silly naive 15yr old when I became pregnant and decided to have an abortion. I do not regret my decision as I went on to move away from home, go to university, get a job, buy a house and car etc. I was not ready at 15 to become a parent.

Now at 28yr old I am almost 33w and completely ready to be a parent 👶🏻🎀💗

It makes me sad when I think about it and seeing anything about people shaming girls who've had abortions particularly bothers me but I made the best choice I possibly could at the time and I don't regret it.
