Post-C Section Bleeding?

I had a c section 5.5 weeks ago and bled about a medium amount for the first 2 weeks then the third week I stopped bleeding. I decided to have sex with my husband with a condom when I was 4 weeks pregnant. Since then, I've been bleeding heavily and the blood is dark brown and bright red. Is this normal? When should I stop bleeding?
