transposition of the great arteries

Last week I was informed that my daughter has TGA. a heart defect that fortunately can be fixed by surgery right after birth. She has no chromosomal disorders or anything else wrong. I was told she will be in the NICU between 3-6 months until she's strong enough for surgery. Has anyone had experience with infants and TGA? I am devastated. I was not prepared to leave my infant in the hospital and not bring her home 💔😞
