Vaginal Ultrasounds!

Have any of you girls had a vaginal ultra sound ... And if you have what was your experience like, was it painful? I just had an ovarian cyst rupture this past week, and I have a vaginal ultrasound scheduled for this Wednesday and I'm curious what to expect!!
