My doctor removed my iud out on October 18. And my OBGYN told me I would get pregnant as soon as I remove it. But I just took a home pregnancy test. It was negative!!! Why!????

Some people can conceive as soon as it's removed but that's not the case for everybody.

You could potentially become pregnant immediately not a garauntee. You have to wait til you ovulate and then about two weeks after that is when you could get a positive.

I got pregnant 3 month after removal sadly ended in stillborn at 5month in July (cord accident) so just give it some time. Good luck 😉

I had mine out Sept. 20 and my doctor said it could take up to 6 months just for my hormones to level out. It can take a year or more to even conceive so you're going to have to be quite patient. It is not normal to get pregnant immediately after it gets removed. Many women on here who had IUDs have been TTC for months or years.

I had my IUD removed in late June after having it (happily- those things are amazing) for a little over 4 years. I got pregnant in earlySeptember but unfortunately lost the pregnancy. So you can totally get pregnant pretty quickly- it was really only about two months. Good luck!
