Should I test yet???

I've been TTC for about 2 and a half years now, my cycle is about 40 days, im now on 42 and don't feel like I'm going to get my period, my boobs are humungous and killing me, slight cramps in my uterus and I have also been getting heartburn! Don't wanna get my hopes up and be let down again so should I wait longer before doing a test?? Any advice is greatly appreciated 😊
