Do blood tests confirm if you've ovulated?

My Dr seemed to think I didn't ovulate last month due to my bloodwork, however I did get a positive opk. My hormone levels looked normal but I do have very long cycles... That one was about 50 days

Fast forward to this cycle, just got a positive opk, baby danced a bunch.... But I'm nervous maybe I'm not ovulating ?

I don't like or trust my dr so I'm not sure what to think

They check progesterone levels cd 21-23 to confirm ovulation.

If you don't like/trust your doctor then you might want to consider switching. You should be most comfortable with him/her. I've personally not heard of this so I'm not able to help there. But good luck to you

Yes, a blood test can confirm ovulation. I have gone through a round of IVF and blood was checked regularly to make sure I had not ovulated. If you don't trust your Dr, you need to get a new one.
