weird vaginal cramps (not period related)

Weirdest thing ever. I'm not due for another period until a couple of weeks. But I am cramping bad enough to the point of I can't sleep. But this isn't period cramps these are actually in my vagina. Like if you think of your vagina cramping that's what this is. Not my normal stomach & back pain that I regularly get each cycle. This is really odd sharp pains that are just genuinely vagina pains. Any ideas?
