Someone had taken thyroid medicine during pregnany and baby is healthy?

I take 75mcg synthroid and all is well so far. I try to not take meds but you cannot mess around with low thyroid hormone during pregnancy, especially the first few months before baby starts producing their own.

I took medication for hypothyroidism during my second and third trimesters and baby girl is perfectly fine. If your thyroid isn't functioning properly during pregnancy, you must take the medication. The damage done by not taking it would be awful.

I am in synthroid.  Get my tsh checked every 4 weeks through out my pregnancy and adjusted my dose accordingly.  I am just about 34 weeks and doing great! Doctor said only problem with a mom on synthroid is you could have a big baby. Mine was measuring smaller than normal! I was so sacred first trimester I would miscarry due to not having a fuctioning thyroid . Guess I had nothing to worry about !
