Pad Alternative for a day?

I am a pad user and only now have I realized I ran out of pads. I have school tomorrow and tomorrow SHOULD be my last day of my period. I have nothing else that Is made for period use ( tampons, panty liners, etc. )

I know it isnt the best idea but should I use a clean sock or two that I do not care for until I am able to get pads/other period means? Or do you guys have another thing to try as an alternative for a short amount of time?
