Positive Test. Now what???

Question

I have a PCP but she is internal medicine. How do I go about choosing OB or nurse midwife?? Where did you start? Estimated due date is July 3,  2017.

I did a pregnancy planning appointment last summer. I called my PCP and asked for a referral to a female OB at a specific hospital. I had tried someone else at the other hospital in my town before that and didn't like the experience.

I usually look up reviews, or ask friend who have already had a baby to find out what doctors are preferred. And then you just call and make an appointmet. They will usually ask for the first day of your last period calculate you estimated due date (even though you know, hey will mostly figure it out for themselves just in case) and then they will tell you at how many weeks they will see you. Some doctor see you as early as six, some not until 8. Good luck and congrats!!
