period irregularity anyone?

I've never had a consistent monthly period. 4 years ago I went to a GYN and she said it's probably that when I do get pregnant that I'll have twins or more, and recommended I go on BC. I refused, now that I'm married I tried BC for 2 months to try to regulate my period and had them - but I couldn't handle the depression and other emotions. It's not been a month since I stopped taking it. I'm worried I'm not fertile cause I don't have a period every month. Anyone have experience with this?

I don't have a period every month I have pcos so I would have one maybe 2 times a yr before I was put on metformin. I had to go to a fertility specialist and he put me on femara to make me ovulate and I got pregnant the 3rd month taking it. And I have a healthy 5 month old. You should get checked out by a doctor to see why you don't have a period that often. But just bc you don't have a period doesn't mean your not fertile. Good luck to you!

I don't have a period every month. I have one maybe every other month or I go longer between. My doc said as long as I have a period, I have a chance of getting pregnant. It'll just be a bit more difficult unless I track them which is why I got the app and it's helped a lot lol!
