I'm confused about the temperature thing is that something that is crucial to do when ttc????

No it's not. My doctor doesn't like temping because so many things can affect it. Did you sleep with the window open, did your big fluffy dog rest on you all night, take your temp at a different time. Some women swear by it and I did it last time I was trying but my chart didn't change when I got pregnant.

I think if it's something you can take on, why not. It may add another piece of info that can help you. I, on the other hand, do not record my temp. It just wouldn't work with my lifestyle. I have a toddler who rarely sleeps through so I'm constantly having to get out of bed. Plus, my dog sleeps on the foot of the bed and he sometimes wakes me up in the middle of the night.

It depends....if you're talking about basal body temperature. I had to take my temperature to determine if I was ovulating on my own...which I wasn't. It just helps you pinpoint your day of ovulation and if it stays elevated after you ovulate, you're pregnant.
