You're not having unprotected sex, as that  would mean you're not using condoms, BC, or any other contraceptives. If you're on BC and taking it correctly, you're protected. If either of you are having difficulty trusting your BC, do some research on it. Go on the brand's site and other medical sites for that kind of BC in general and that specific brand. Learning about your BC can help you learn to trust it more. You can also pair it with the withdrawal method to help reduce your risk of becoming pregnant.
