Breaking up with someone you love😥
We had been together for almost a year - we were madly in love. We talked about marriage and the future ALL THE TIME. We were inseparable. Last year, during my senior year of high school, my boyfriend was arrested. Something no one in my small town could ever fathom - not him, surely they arrested the wrong guy.
He was arrested along with two other of his "friends" for shooting out windows. Stupid right? He spent two days in jail, and has fifty low-class felonies to his name.
I didn't leave him - I couldn't. I have stood by him all this time.
We're going on two years now that we've been together.
However, our relationship and our future seem clouded.
I want a future with him, for I couldn't imagaine my life without that crazy chicken nugget by my side, but there's a lot that needs addressed.
1) my parents despise him.
2) he doesn't have an "official" job
3)he's $18k in debt
I don't know what to do anymore. I love him to pieces, but my parents say that if I stay with him, I'm not going to have anything nice in life.
My heart is far too big to just walk away and leave him when he's down.
I need guidance.
