Stomach pain 38+6

I had back ache all yesterday and last night and had period cramps through the night abd again this morning but I can't time them as it's constantly there. I really had a feeling I was going to go into labour last night but obviously I haven't. The period type pain is continuing but I wouldn't say it's got worse. Would you say this is the start of labour and will increase? Anyone else experienced this?
