Getting pregnant or no?

Me and my boyfriend been planning to go have a baby we were planning this for 5 months now I think we are ready to have a baby I stop taking my pills we were really excited to have a baby so last night my boyfriend had a phone call he already have kids till they're old tho. His oldest daughter told us she is pregnant big surprise. He got all happy me too but than i git sad cuz i really want a baby badly and he knows that i cry cuz i was happy too but after all the talking to him and saying oh my god you're gonna be a granpa he laugh and say yes i know.. Well she got pregnant first oh well... What that supposed to mean? I asked him and he said well she got pregnant first now.. That was it.. Now i dont know if i should get prego or not? I dont want to look selfish... Plus she never liked me at all.. I dont know what to do!!!
