10dpo, sore boobs, - test...

Hi all! This is my first time posting, but I'm going crazy here. I'm 10 dpo today and my boobs started hurting about three days ago. My boobs have NEVER hurt before - I know some people get sore breasts before their periods but i never have (and I'm 34).

I started testing a couple days ago (I know, bad idea) but waited until today (five days before my period is due) to use the First Response test (the rest were the cheapies from amazon). All negative...but my boobs still hurt! We've been trying for six months and I haven't had trouble waiting before bc I haven't had what seems like an obvious pregnancy symptom until this time.

Needing some support here. Anyone else have negatives at this point and turn out to be preggo after all?
