Do you think getting post baby body back is genetics??

I just had my 2nd baby 4 months ago.. I don't work out, don't watch what I eat or breastfeed..Sadly I'm not 21, and my stomach is  just about flat, and you can't tell I had a baby, never mind 2 in 2 years.. I see all these women talk about how hard it is to lose the baby weight, or they have to  excersise etc.. Does anyone else snap back without trying??? P.s, I did have a c-section for my first, n it took a little longer, but by 5 months I was good..

Genetics, my moms side of the family everyone is "medium sized or smaller" dad's side is tall and thin, I was back to my high school weight of 117 at two weeks postpartum. Unfortunately my plight in life isn't weight but skin, I have to probably do three times the facial routine and more to keep clear smooth skin, while other people could smear chocolate on their face and not break out🙃

I think part of it is genetics. My mom always had a hard time. I lost hardly anything after I had my daughter. And I'm still struggling. I only drink water. No pop or anything else. And I eat a healthy breakfast and salads for lunch. Dinner is different, but they're usually pretty healthy for the most part. And I used to walk almost every day and I try and stay active. And I've only lost 10 pounds since I had her. It's. She frustrating.

I'm 42. 3 weeks today post c section and back to pre pregnancy weight. Don't have my six pack but I could rival most girls with this stomach. I'd say genetics and normal lifestyle both contribute

I'm 34, baby number 4. Pp two weeks 5 days. I weigh less then when I got pregnant but I was extremely sick until week 20 and never, never and never had an appetite. I am breastfeeding and I did have my baby vaginally. I hope I continue lossing weight, cause it's always been struggle and caused a self-esteem issue.  This is an extremely nice gift from my pregnancy from my baby to me. Down 22 lbs.

Define "not trying" 🤔 I have a high metabolism and I breastfeed. This time I gained 60+lbs, birthed a 8lb 7.7oz baby and make milk for my own and my nephew. I'm 9mo pp (my second) and I'm about 15lbs over my pre preg weight, which I'm ok with bc I've always been super tiny - 5'5, 106 pre preg 😅 I don't work out bc I'm lazy and don't have the energy lol my tummy isn't flat, mostly from 2 big babies and weakened abdominal muscles lol but idc enough yet to address it 😜

I believe its a little of both. Im a FTM and wasn't sure what to expect with pregnancy let alone post partum. I was in the best shape of my life when I got pregnanct. 140lbs with a bmi of 21. I ate super healthy and drank only water and milk throughout. Still I gained 55lbs. I have lost 20lbs at 7 weeks post partum. Depending on health and genetics women may "bounce back" or totally flounder post partum.

I had my son may of 2015 and I just had my daughter mid  July this year. I dont exersize, never watch what I eat, I am breastfeeding my daughter but after both pregnancy I bounced back I don't know if it's genetics but I'm not gonna question looking back to normal after almost two year of being pregnant 😂😂

I think a lot has to do with genetics personally. I quickly dropped about 20lbs after birth (I only gained 12) and then continued to drop an additional 10 while nursing before I got pregnant again. But I did not work out, ate pretty much whatever I want (not terrible, but did not limit myself... if I wanted a whole pizza I ate one, but also ate a lot of fruit and salads) I'm PRAYING I lose this baby weight just as easily, as I'm 27 weeks and already gained 24lbs this time. I think nursing was key for me. We made it to 1 year before I dried up due to being pregnant again

My mom only gained 11 pounds her whole pregnancy with my sister (4th pregnancy) and I only gained 20 pounds with my twins. I didn't watch what I ate and ate a lot! So I think that genetics definitely came into play for my situation
