Have you ever said or done things you didn't really mean while drunk?  I know most people have. Sometimes it does lower people inhibitions but it also skews judgement. My best friend of almost 20 years called me a slut once when she was really drunk and I know for a fact she doesn't actually think that about me. She's just sometimes an asshole when she drinks to much (she's been sober now for 3 years because of it)
I've done my share of drinking and I know there are lots of times my brain said "it's a good idea to say/do this" and it absolutely was not a good idea!
