Do you leave candy out why you take the kids trick-or-treating?

I left a lot of candy out last year we weren't gone long and somebody stole all of it and this year I don't want to leave anything out and has anyone else had this happen to them

Did they steal the pot too? That's so sad, but at least you got rid of it all, I normally buy loads then no one comes, I mean I love mini mars bars and magic stars but probably would be best if I didn't eat them all! Lol. I'd still leave stuff out unless you got pranked because there was none left then fuck 'me little shits. Lol. Xx

We leave candy out every year and not once has it been stolen! There's usually candy left in the bucket when we get back

No. we are only gone 45-60 mins and then come home to hand out candy. So no, we don't leave it out. I would expect there to be an asshat or two that steals the entire bucket
