I've been using OPKs for the first time and I'm not sure why they're so dark..or so light(if not ovulating)? I'm confused. Some people have practically white opks on non ovulating times. Why are mine so dark? CD 12. I started testing at CD7.

Defiantly keep testing. You may ovulate later than the average woman which is completely normal. I usually ovulate on days 17-19

I might be crazy but the second stick looks like the most similar the lines got. However I've only been TTC for three cycles and this cycle is the first time I've used those types of strips. This is what my darkest test looked like if that helps!

As you get closer to ovulation, your the levels of lh rise, so the closer you get to it the darker the lines will be! As soon as they are as dark as the control line or darker than the control line that's how you know you ovulated, xxxx

This is why I can't stand wondfo opk my tests were soooo confusing switched brand and it was clear as a day they were all dark lines but not darker since my period would not use them again!
