5cm dilated no contractions
I am 40 weeks with my first pregnancy and had my routine check with MW this morning. She went to do a sweep and discovered I was 4cm dilated and could stretch to 6cm. I have had braxton hicks fairly regularly for the past two days but no contractions.
Had to go in for CTG as baby's heart rate was fast. It regulated itself and they sent me home to wait for contractions/waters to break.
It's unbearable feeling like I'm so close but yet so far as nothing is happening.
Is this the case for anyone else? Any thoughts on whether it could kick into action soon or tips on how to gets things moving? I want to meet my little bub soon!!
