tubes tied at 22..

I'm wondering if any young moms have had their tubes tied after baby #1? i got pregnant on birth control so it obviously didn't work. i love my baby more than anything but i don't want any more children. in my state its legal to have your tubes tied at 21 as long as you're mentally stable. i just don't want anymore surprise pregnancies from failed contraceptives. just wondering if anyone else considered this or what your thoughts are on it are? if i change my mind  in the future and decide to have another kid, I'd much rather adopt.
