Braces- is this a normal thing to hav happen?!

I have had braces for a bit long while now and my teeth of course have been shifting but it seems like the gum that was stuck between two teeth has now been pushed out and resembles a skin tag in a way. Should i be worried or does this happen normally?

My gums looked horrible with the braces but as soon as they came off the swelling went down and I now love my teeth

Yes definitely normal, your teeth are pushing your gums. They need somewhere to go. Your gums will form to your new teeth placement. I had braces for 5 years, long process but sooooo worth it!

It did happen to me between my front teeth, but I that with time it's now unnoticeble.
