Has any one else been on metaformin

I have been finding it difficult to get pregnant had tests done to find I'm not ovulating and do have polycyclic ovaries.... hot refer to a specialist and he has put me on metaformin how has any one else got on with these? I also have to lose weight so on a diet and changed my eating a lot more.
