Do I need any baby medications for the first 3 months ? Don't most medicines like Tylenol or Motrin have a 6 month age limit ?

They do say to have some of the children's meds (benadryl, tylenol, motrin) on hand, but you'll want to discuss how much to give and at what point.

Tylenol is safe to be given as a newborn. Just get infant Tylenol.

They say not to give any medicine prior to 6 months due to the fact that Tylenol would hide a fever and if your newborn is getting a fever then there is something seriously wrong and your baby would need to go see a doctor asap.

But having Tylenol on hand is good because if it is discovered that your baby has a fever you can start to treat them and bring their fever down prior to rushing them to the hospital.

And a fever for an infant is anything over 100.4 seeing as how newborns temps can fluctuate.
