Did you get induced and end up needing a c section?

I've been in the hospital since Sunday night. I'm only at 1 cm and she hasn't dropped. I am so terrified of a c section but I know that i'm going to need one. I've never had surgery before and so it makes it even worse. Anyone have a c section? How was recovery?

My water broke withou progressing so they induced me with pitocin. It was a long hard process but thankfully, it didnt require a csection.

I'm being induced tomorrow at 39w3d and I'm scared of it ending in Csection also. 😩 but with my first baby I was induced at 34 weeks and had my daughter vaginally perfectly fine after 12 hours. The main concern that it would lead to a csection is if baby was too big to fit through your pelvis. Which is my fear this time. 😞 they induced me with petocin and that's it. Idk what they are doing for you ?
